About Mary

Mary Manofsky appears regularly in The Ointment as a special on-the-road correspondent which has brought her around the country in pursuit of stories. Originally from Ohio, Mary now lives in Los Angeles with her family where she leads the glamorous double life of a soccer mom and actor. She has appeared in numerous television shows, including “ER”, “Judging Amy”, “Veronica’s Closet”, and “Suddenly Susan.” She is a former member of Los Angeles’ renowned improv comedy troupe, The Groundlings where she was a regular member of the Sunday Show cast. She is currently an active member of Theatre Tribe in Los Angeles where she was seen in the recent Ovation-Award-winning, critically-lauded, west coast premiere of “The Long Christmas Ride Home” by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Paula Vogel. Her favorite Ointment characters include the Australian stripper, Femme Fatale, Wal-Mart clerk and the singing voice of any song parody you happen to hear on the show.
